Well I thought Id better kick off the blog by actually using it and trying to write something legible. So far so good. February has been a good month, although I’m dreading the 29th for the simple reason that it’s exam results day for my Marketing Diploma. Of course I will also get the obligatory marriage proposals from far & wide (that’s not her real name by the way).

After much hassling I’ve managed to confirm a sponsor which I am rather chuffed and thankful of. The American Legion have also been doing a sterling job in rounding up the troops & raising awareness of my plight. The American Legion Riders have offered to come on board and keep an eye on me, and I have been assured that “if you see a bad looking group of outlaw bikers hovering around you in the backwoods of West Virginia, that's for your protection, not your impending doom.” Now that puts me at ease, if not my mother.

Talking of the parents, sorry about the photo but I thought it only right to inform the world that I’m an uncle again. Little Holly refused to come out for 9 days, rejecting the British winter for warmer climates, but she’s out and about now and once she gets over the ‘just come out’ look I’m sure she’ll be a cutey, well done Steve & Tammy!

My main concern for this blog is the language barrier, and I am fully aware that American’s don’t reeeeallly speak ‘English’ English so to speak, so I plan on setting up a translation page so all you lovely American’s can fully appreciate my poetic scripting. Just feel safe in the knowledge that most British people don’t understand me either.

Oh and I now have a bicycle. I haven’t worked out how to turn it on yet but once I do apparently I’ll get fit in no time.
